The last couple of weeks have been crazy.

I am currently in Madrid for Christmas.

I left Miami behind, and we are moving to Nassau, The Bahamas, next month.

The last days in Miami have been super intense…

I almost lost all our things because of a disaster of a moving company…

Anyways, talking about Computational Design.

I want to plant a seed in your head.

Some weeks before, I attended a private event at an Architecture Studio.

They gathered all their employees and revised their whole year.

Talked about the budget for past, present, and future projects.

Discussed which areas to improve, and what type of profiles to hire next.

A high-level strategic meeting including all the employees to understand the current situation of the studio.

This allows everyone to share their thoughts and ideas openly.

Cool idea.

….

When it came to Technology and Design.

They show one full slide for AI.

Another one for Sustainability.

And the last one was for the IT stack.

Computational Design was included there…

And the person in charge was the guy in charge of IT…

Wow

….

This is the reality most people doing CD have to deal with.

Be aware of this.

The lack of understanding of what CD is by most pros in our industries is a fact.
