My brain is a bot

If you were here last week, we talked about a good habit: saving little pieces of your Grasshopper scripts.

In a notebook or in a code library.

I told you I was working on version 3.0 of that idea.

I call it ASKHOPPER.

(Do you have a better name? reply and tell me!)

It’s a simple web interface, a lot like ChatGPT.

You talk to the bot about Grasshopper.

Only Grasshopper.

Or Parametric Design, Rhino Inside, and things like that.

The bot uses my own knowledge to answer your questions.

It can even send back Grasshopper scripts to help explain what you’re trying to do.

Now…

This bot doesn’t make things up.

If it can’t solve your question, it saves it.

Then a real human (me!) will look at it and solve it.

Once it’s solved, you’ll get an email.

Almost everything is automated, except the problem-solving part.

That’s 100% human.

That’s me.

I’m planning to send you the first prototype next week.

You’ll get it first, my beloved readers.

Even before my grandma.
