About specific business around Computational Design
Hello, this is Isma 👋
Last week, I received a lot of responses. Readers keen to get my notes on ComfyUI.
And also, some of you even offer to collaborate on this! Awesome!
I am on holidays rn, but l will be sharing the web diary with you soon.
…
Another thing that happened to me this week:
I got a message from someone who wants to start her own business: 100% focused on computational design and biomimicry. A very cool and powerful idea.
I offer her the chance to share her idea through this newsletter. So you will be hearing from her soon.
And if you ever have something worth sharing related to Computational Design.
Please, reach out. I created this channel so we can connect: use it! Don´t be shy…
So, on that note.
Today I wanted to talk super briefly about THEVERYMANY.
This is an amazing studio that has developed its own system. And they leverage Parametric Design to create a very unique product with a lot of personality.
They developed a method called STRIPES to design their structures.
THEVERYMANY came up with a cool way to build big curved shapes using thin, flat metal strips.
Each strip is different, and when you put them all together like puzzle pieces, they create a strong and curvy structure.
What do I love about them? Apart from the amazing structures they create, of course.
They have found a very specific business model around Computational Design.
Brilliant.
